Meta has its own AI agent for WhatsApp, Meta Business Agent. In its June 3, 2026 announcement, Meta said getting started was free and announced future paid subscriptions. Check the current terms in your account. It is activated in the WhatsApp Business app and answers with your business information, although Meta says it is only available in some countries for selected businesses. Choose Meta's agent if…
You already use the WhatsApp Business app, the agent already shows up for your business, its current terms suit you and you have time to train and review it yourself. For answering frequent questions, it may be enough.
Choose JD Software Labs if…
You prefer that someone installs and runs it, you want it to book into your Google Calendar and send reminders, you have a medical office or a veterinary clinic, or Meta's agent does not show up for you yet.

How much does Meta's AI agent cost?
In its June 3, 2026 announcement, Meta said getting started was free and announced future paid subscriptions. Check the current terms in your account. TechCrunch (June 3, 2026) reported that Meta planned to include it in some WhatsApp Business Premium tiers. On the platform (API), Meta charges US$2.00 per million tokens, about 4 to 5 US cents per message according to its pricing page.
Is it available in Mexico?
According to Expansión (October 16, 2025), Mexico was the first country to get it, starting November 3, 2025, for businesses with the app in Spanish and at least one product in their catalog. Today Meta says it is only available in some countries for selected businesses: check the Tools tab in your app.
Can I use Meta's agent in a medical office?
On the platform (API), Meta's documentation excludes the health industry. We do work with medical offices and veterinary clinics. We configure it to answer administrative questions, with instructions against clinical advice and team alerts for configured clinical keywords.
